Driver of Italian team Ferrari Charles Leclerc assessed his chances to fight for first place with the Dutchman Max Verstappen during the Grand Prix of Miami.
Sky Sports quotes Leclerc as saying:
If we get the DRS after the first lap I think we can maybe stay with him. DRS is super powerful here and if we lose it after the first lap then it's always difficult to come back within DRS, we must not lose it. But first of all, there will be the start, this morning we had a good one and tomorrow I will try to have an even better one.
Verstappen took the first place in qualifying for the Grand Prix of Miami. Leclerc became second, and his teammate Carlos Sainz took third place. The race in Miami will be held on May 5 and will begin at 23:00 GMT+3.
Recall that Verstappen took first place after the sprint in Miami, and Leclerc came in second.
