Ferrari Driver Leclerc Discusses Qualifying Result For Spanish Grand Prix

During a conversation with Sky Sports F1, Monégasque driver Charles Leclerc from the Italian Ferrari team expressed disappointment with his results in the qualifying session for the Spanish Grand Prix.

Charles Leclerc
We did a really good job from yesterday to today in terms of car set-up. I changed completely the car on my side because yesterday I felt really bad in the car, and today the feeling is back. However, I’m mostly very disappointed with today, because the performance is not there and we are too far away from pole from where we would like to be.

Leclerc mentioned that the team lacked speed today, yet they did their best.

Charles Leclerc secured the fifth position in the qualifying rankings. His teammate, Spaniard Carlos Sainz, will start the race from sixth position.

The pole position at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya was claimed by McLaren driver Lando Norris from Britain. Red Bull's Max Verstappen came second, while Lewis Hamilton secured the third spot.

The main race will take place tomorrow, June 23rd, starting at 16:00 GMT+3.
