Formula 1 Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz commented on the situation with his teammate Charles Leclerc during the sprint race at the Chinese Grand Prix.
Due to the intense battle between both Scuderia drivers, Red Bull's Sergio Perez overtook them. Leclerc and Sainz finished in fourth and fifth place respectively.
Crash quoted the Spaniard as saying:
I apologize if I did something over the limit but we were all racing really hard today and I was trying my best to keep it under control out there.
Earlier, it was reported that Carlos Sainz signed a contract with Mercedes from 2025. Before the start of the season, Charles Leclerc described the new Ferrari car as more comfortable than last year's.
