Aston Martin Ready to Offer Verstappen $1 Billion

The Aston Martin team is showing serious interest in signing Max Verstappen, the four-time Formula 1 world champion, and is prepared to present the driver with a highly lucrative contract. This information is reported by the Daily Mail.

According to the publication, the team is willing to pay the Dutch driver around $250 million per year if he agrees to leave Red Bull Racing.

This long-term contract could net Verstappen approximately $1.2 billion in total.

In addition to the impressive salary, Verstappen, along with chief technology officer Adrian Newey, will be offered a chance to become shareholders of the team.

An insider reports that Aston Martin owner Lawrence Stroll is determined to win the championship and will stop at nothing to achieve this goal.
