Mercedes racer Valtteri Bottas came on top during the qualifying race in the Italian Grand Prix, finishing ahead of Max Verstappen edging him by 2.235 seconds. However, he failed to seize the pole position as he got penalized for an engine fault, resulting in the deduction of 2.3 seconds. Valtteri’s Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton finished at the fifth after claiming the first position in the first practice.
McLaren’s racers Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris finished in third and fourth place respectively. Ferrari teammates Charles LeClerc and Carlos Sainz Jr. took the sixth and seventh spot respectively. Aston Martin’s Sebastian Vettel finished at the twelfth spot. The main race is going to be held tomorrow @ 01:30 PM GMT.
