England and Wales Cricket Board(ECB) has released the list of players who are eligible for selection in England’s tour of Australia for the Ashes. England’s hero in the last Ashes, Ben Stokes is not included in the squad but that comes as no surprise since he has taken an “indefinite break” from cricket due to mental health.
England’s regular Dom Sibley missed out on making the team, while Haseeb Hameed found a place after impressing the selectors against tough Indian bowling in the last series. Spin bowlers Dom Bess and Jack Leach also found their way into the squad while Sam Curran failed to crack the squad.
