After this year’s World Cup saw a brilliant finale, the venue for the next year’s World Cup Semis and Finals in Australia got announced. The Finals will take in Melbourne Cricket Ground(MCG) while the Semis will take place in Adelaide Oval and Sydney. The other venues for the World Cup are Geelong, Hobart, Perth, and Brisbane.
The tournament will begin on October 16, the Semi-Finals will take place in Sydney on 9 and Adelaide Oval on 10 November while the Finals of the T20 World Cup 2022 will take place in MCG on November 13. Australia won the World Cup in UAE barely two days ago and will defend their title at home turf. Meanwhile, New Zealand, South Africa, India, West Indies, Afghanistan, England, and Pakistan have already qualified for next year’s Super 12s stage while Sri Lanka, West Indies, Scotland, and Namibia will be among squads that will fight it out for Super 12s qualification.
