Borussia Dortmund prevailed over Bayer Leverkusen four-three in a seven goals affair. Bayer got a two-one lead in the first half but Dortmund roared back in the second half. Borussia nailed three goals compared to Dortmund’s one in the last 45 minutes plus stoppage time.

Florian Witz started the proceedings for Leverkusen at the ninth-minute mark. Then Erling Haaland torched a header at the thirty-seventh mark to tie the game. Patrik Schick had a reply just before the first half ended. Julian Brandt tied the game at the forty-ninth-minute mark. The game kept going back and forth as Moussa Diaby gave Leverkusen a lead at the fifty-minute mark. Raphael Guerreiro tied the game at the seventy-one-minute mark. Haaland scored off a penalty at the seventy-seven mark and Dortmund sealed the deal with that strike.
