Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has spoken out regarding plans to make a fight against former WBA, WBO and IBF belt holder Anthony Joshua.
Deontay Wilder
Recently their side admitted they held this fight up; not taking the $50M, low balling me, flat fees and all that stuff. But with patience and time the truth shall reveal itself and it has. He's got to get Wallin out the way and I've got to get Parker out the way and may God be with us in those fights and when we come out safe we let the big games begin.
Recall, December 23 in Saudi Arabia, Wilder will hold a fight against Joseph Parker. The same evening Joshua will meet in the ring with Otto Wallin.
Wilder last fought against Robert Helenius in October 2022. This confrontation was stopped in the first round and ended in Deontay's favor with a knockout. He has 43 wins (42 by knockout), one draw and two losses.
Joshua last fought in August 2023, defeating Robert Helenius by knockout in the seventh round. He has 26 wins (23 by knockout) and three losses on his record.
