Former WBC heavyweight champion, American boxer Deontay Wilder, will have his next fight in April. This was announced by insider Manuk Akopyan, who contributes to ESPN, FOX, and USA Today.
Akopyan reports that the bout will take place in the USA, but Wilder’s opponent has not yet been determined.
Wilder’s last appearance in the ring was in June 2024, where he suffered a knockout loss to Zhilei Zhang in the fifth round. His record has 43 wins (42 by knockout), 4 losses, and 1 draw.
