Former world champion Deontay Wilder shared his opinion on the upcoming fight between former UFC champion Francis Ngannou and current WBC champion Tyson Fury.
Recall, the fight between Fury and Ngannou will take place on October 29 in Saudi Arabia.
Deontay Wilder, quoted by BoxingScene
I think it's gonna be boring, in my gut I feel it's gonna be boring. I don't think it's gonna be an exciting fight. Because I haven't been in it, the heavyweight division is going down tremendously. I remember the time when it was like, 'Damn, it's good to be a heavyweight, the division is back.' Now you don't feel no electricity at all.
Ngannou's last fight was against Ciryl Gane in January 2022 at UFC 270. Francis won that fight by unanimous decision. He has 17 wins and three losses on his record.
Fury's last fight was against Derek Chisora in December 2022. In this confrontation, Tyson won by technical knockout in the tenth round. He has 33 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no defeats.
