WBO Orders Fundora to Defend Title Against Zayas

Current WBC and WBO titleholder in the light middleweight division, Sebastian Fundora, must next fight mandatory contender Xander Zayas, as reported by BoxingScene.

The teams representing the boxers are expected to begin negotiations. If an agreement is not reached within 20 days, the World Boxing Organization (WBO) will schedule a bidding for the rights to this fight.

Fundora's last bout was against Chordale Booker on March 23 in Las Vegas, USA, where he secured a technical knockout victory in the fourth round. Fundora's record now stands at 22 wins (14 by knockout), one loss, and one draw.

Zayas last entered the ring against Slawa Spomer in February of this year, winning that match by technical knockout in the ninth round. His record includes 21 wins (13 by knockout) with no losses.
