WBO light-welterweight champion Josh Taylor and former world lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez held their final press conference for their June 10 fight in New York City.
The boxers got so caught up in their mutual insults that security thought it necessary to keep them away from each other during the traditional staredown.
Taylor had his last fight against Jack Catterall in February 2022. This confrontation lasted the entire distance and ended in Josh's favor by a split decision of the judges. He has 19 wins (13 KO's) and no losses.
Lopez had his last fight against Sandor Martin last December. Teofimo won that fight by split decision. He has 18 wins (13 by knockout) and one loss.
