Former undisputed world lightweight champion Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia have signed a contract for a fight that will take place on April 20. This was reported by ESPN journalist Mike Coppinger.
The WBC junior welterweight title held by Haney will be at stake in the fight.
The 25-year-old Haney last fought against Regis Prograis in December 2023. In that fight, Devin won by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 31 wins (15 by knockout) and no losses.
Garcia, 25, last stepped into the ring in December 2023, defeating Oscar Duarte Jurado by knockout in the eighth round. He has 24 wins (20 by knockout) and one loss on his record.
