Mauricio Sulaiman for Match TV
Arranging this rematch is absolutely the right decision. Their first fight was one of the greatest I’ve seen in a long time. The whole world wants to see this rematch, so I’m excited to receive this news. Congratulations.
Recall that on October 12th in Saudi Arabia, Beterbiev defeated Bivol by unanimous decision (114-114, 115-113, 116-112), becoming the undisputed world champion in the light heavyweight division.
Bivol holds a record of 23 wins (12 by knockout) and one loss, while Beterbiev boasts 21 wins (20 by knockout) with no defeats.
