The World Boxing Council (WBC) has completed its anti-doping investigation of British boxer Conor Benn and made a decision to return him back into the rankings.
It is reported that the organization considered the arguments of the athlete's team sufficient to recognize the positive doping samples as an incidental and unintentional nutritional outcome.
Benn had his last fight against Chris Van Heerden in April 2022. In that encounter, Conor won by TKO in the second round.
Benn came to the ring in December, 2021, against Chris Algieri. The fight, which was stopped in the fourth round, ended in favor of Conor by knockout. He has 21 wins (14 KOs) and no losses.
