The World Boxing Council (WBC) has scheduled promoter bidding for April 8 to determine who will hold the rights to organize the bout for the interim title in the super middleweight division between Christian Mbilli and Diego Pacheco. This decision was reported by BoxingScene.
The move comes after the parties turned out to be unable to reach an agreement within the deadline. Mbilli last fought Sergiy Derevyanchenko in August 2024, where he won by unanimous decision. He boasts a record of 28 wins (23 by knockout) and remains undefeated.
Pacheco last stepped into the ring against Steven Nelson in January this year. This fight also went the distance and ended with Diego winning by unanimous decision. He holds 23 victories (18 by knockout) without a single loss.
