Current WBA super featherweight champion Nick Ball has announced his readiness to face Naoya Inoue, the undisputed champion in the super bantamweight division.
Nick Ball in an interview with Queensberry
I think it's gonna make for a good fight. He gets in there and pushes everyone else back a bit like myself but I won’t allow that when he’s in there with me and I’ll show it.
Nick Ball last fought against TJ Doheny on March 15 in Liverpool, where he won by technical knockout after his opponent refused to continue, successfully defending his WBA title. Ball holds a record of 22 wins (13 by knockout), one draw, and no losses.
Inoue's most recent fight was against Ye Joon Kim in Tokyo in January this year, which ended in the fourth round with a knockout victory for him, preserving his status as the undisputed world champion. He boasts an impressive record of 29 wins (26 by knockout) and no losses.
