WBA regular welterweight champion Eimantas Stanionis will fight Vergil Ortiz Jr. on July 8 as part of his boxing night.
Stanionis, 28, last stepped into the ring against Radzhab Butaev in April 2022. That fight went the whole distance and Eimantas won by split decision. He has 14 wins (nine by KO) and no losses.
Ortiz, 25, had his last fight in August, 2022, when he stopped Michael McKinson by TKO in the ninth round. He has 19 wins (19 by knockout) without a single loss.
