The World Boxing Association (WBA) has officially sanctioned a title match between American fighters Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach, scheduled for December 14.
This was announced by the organization's press service.
29-year-old Davis last stepped into the ring in June 2024, where he won by knockout against Frank Martin in the eighth round. He boasts a record of 30 wins (28 by knockout) and no losses.
In contrast, Roach has achieved 25 victories (10 by knockout), along with one loss and one draw.
