On August 4 at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles (USA), WBA Junior Welterweight champion Isaac Cruz fought against Jose Valenzuela.
The fight, which went the full distance, ended with Valenzuela winning by split decision of the judges (116-112, 113-115, 116-112).
Cruz previously stepped into the ring in March 2024, defeating Rolando Romero by technical knockout in the eighth round. He has 26 wins (18 by knockout), three losses and one draw on his record.
Valenzuela's previous fight was in December 2023, a sixth-round knockout win over Chris Colbert. He has 14 wins (nine by knockout) and two losses on his record.
