World heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, who holds titles from WBC, WBO, WBA, and IBO, is aiming for a rematch with IBF titleholder Daniel Dubois.
According to WBO President Gustavo Olivieri, Usyk's team has submitted an official petition to the organization, requesting to delay the mandatory defense against Joseph Parker.

There is a petition before the Championship Committee to consider a Usyk-Dubois unification to consolidate the heavyweight championships. Therefore, upon an official ruling regarding this matter, we will publicly announce the official decision, including Parker's mandatory status, if that be the case.
The first bout between Usyk and Dubois took place in August 2023 in Wroclaw, Poland. Usyk won that fight by knockout in the ninth round.
Usyk has an impressive professional boxing record of 23 wins (14 by knockout) and no losses. Dubois holds 22 wins (21 by knockout) and two losses.
