Alexander Krassyuk, the manager of WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, said that Tyson Fury is the one responsible for the disruption of negotiations for the fight against his ward.
I think Fury has avoided Usyk before. It's not a snarky comment, it's a fact. This year, Fury had a chance to fight for the undisputed champion title. Our partners in the Middle East agreed to hold the fight. There was only one thing left to be granted - Tyson's agreement to this fight. And he didn't give it. That's the problem.
Fury will meet Chisora in the ring on December 3 in London, UK. Last April, Fury defeated his compatriot Dillian Whyte by TKO in the sixth round, and Tyson won this fight by TKO in the first round. He has 32 wins (23 KOs) and one draw under his belt.
Usyk had his last fight against a Briton Anthony Joshua in August of this year. In this fight Oleksandr won by split decision.
Usyk made his professional ring debut against Mexican boxer Felipe Romero in November, 2013. This fight ended in favor of Oleksandr by a technical knockout in the fifth round.
