WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk took part in the World Boxing Council (WBC) conference in Uzbekistan, where he had a photo shoot with Tyson Fury's championship belt.
Usyk took the WBC world title and raised it above his head, saying hat it belongs to him.
Recall, the fight for the title of absolute world champion between Usyk and Fury should be held in early 2024.
Fury last fought against Francis Ngannou on October 28 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). In this confrontation Tyson won a split decision of judges. He has 34 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no defeats.
Usyk last entered the ring against Daniel Dubois in August this year. This fight Oleksandr won by knockout in the ninth round. He has 21 wins (14 by knockout) without a single defeat.
