Usyk: I Will Play Football After Boxing, I Already Have a Contract

Ukrainian heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, who holds the WBA, WBO, IBO, and WBC titles, revealed his plans for life after boxing.

Oleksandr Usyk for Ring Magazine
What will happen after I'm done with boxing? I will play football. I have a professional contract with Polissya. This is the Premier League. Do you know Shakhtar Donetsk? Well, Polissya won against them.

For context, Usyk faced Tyson Fury in a rematch in December 2024, winning by unanimous decision. In May 2024, he defeated Fury by split decision in a fight for the title of undisputed world champion. Usyk's record stands at 23 wins (14 by knockout) and no losses.
