Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion, has spoken out about the possible end of his career, which could be prompted by a new generation of younger boxers.

I see that I'm not that old. I'm 35 years old, but I see that there's a resource that's running out. And then you just don't want to get tortured. You can't fool yourself. If you understand that younger guys are already fit and they have better speed, more endurance, then you just have to tell yourself: "Brother, choose another line of work and work hard".
Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua in August 2020 via split decision of the judges in a rematch. In September 2021, Oleksandr defeated Anthony by unanimous decision. The Ukrainian made his debut fight of his professional boxing career in November, 2013, against Mexican Felipe Romero. Usyk won this fight by a technical knockout in the fifth round. The 35-year-old Usyk has 20 wins (13 by knockout) without a single loss.
Recall that Oleksandr is also a champion of the Olympic Games in London.
