WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and WBC world champion Tyson Fury have signed a contract for a fight. The winner of this fight will become the first absolute champion of the heavyweight division since Lennox Lewis in 1999.
The bout will take place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. More details, including the official date of the fight, will be announced later.
Fury last stepped into the ring against Derek Chisora in December 2022. That fight ended in favor of Tyson by technical knockout in the tenth round. He has 33 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no defeats in the professional ring.
Usyk's last fight was against Daniel Dubois in August 2023. Oleksandr won this fight by knockout in the ninth round. He has 21 wins (14 by knockout) and no losses.
