Undisputed junior featherweight world champion Naoya Inoue will have his next fight against Mexican Luis Neri in May in Tokyo, Japan. This was reported by insider Mike Coppinger.
Inoue last fought against Marlon Tapales in December 2023 in Tokyo. In that fight, Naoya won by knockout in the tenth round. He has 26 wins (23 by knockout) and no losses on his record.
Neri last stepped into the ring against Froilan Saludar in July 2023. That fight, which was stopped in the second round, ended in favor of Luis by technical knockout. He has 35 wins (27 by knockout) and one loss on his record.
