Undisputed world champion in light heavyweight division Saul Álvarez doesn't agree to hold a rematch against Dmitry Bivol for the titles in his weight class.
"Saul isn't ready to consider a rematch for light heavyweight titles," TASS quoted Alvarez's representative as saying.
Álvarez and Bivol fought in May 2022 in Las Vegas. This confrontation lasted the whole distance and ended with Dmitry's victory by unanimous decision of the judges.
His last fight was in November of this year in Abu Dhabi. That time he defeated Mexican boxer Gilberto Ramirez for the first time. Dmitry won by unanimous decision of the judges. Dmitry has 21 wins (11 by KO) without a single defeat.
Álvarez had his last fight in September, 2022, when he defeated Gennady Golovkin by unanimous decision. Álvarez, 32, has 58 wins (39 by knockout) and two losses.
