Undefeated Brazilian professional boxer Esquiva Falcao shared how his sparring with UFC star Nate Diaz goes on in his social media accounts.
To clarify, Falcao is helping Diaz prepare for his fight against famous video blogger Jake Paul.
At first I thought he was tired, and in the end it looked like he was dying,” Falcao said on a video posted on his social media. “His fighting style is crazy. You look at him and say, ‘Oh, he’s tired,’ and then we started sparring. [Coach] Robert [Garcia] told me in the second round, ‘He’s tired already, hold back a little bit and keep the rhythm so he does at least 10 rounds.'
Recall, the boxing bout between Diaz and Paul will take place on August 5 in Dallas, USA,
Paul, 26, last stepped into the ring against Tommy Fury in February 2023 in Saudi Arabia. That confrontation went the whole distance and ended with Tommy winning by split decision. Paul has six wins and one loss under his belt.
Diaz, 38, fought against Tony Ferguson at UFC 279 in September 2022. In that fight Nate won by choking in the fourth round. He announced his retirement from the UFC after that fight. He has 24 wins and 13 losses under his belt.
