Former WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has speculated about the timeline of his professional boxing career, suggesting that he might be nearing its conclusion.
In an interview with Dev Sahni of Queensberry Boxing, Fury stated:
I’ve been in love with boxing for such a long time – from being a little boy – and I’m probably at the end of my career in the next few years. It’s been a love-hate relationship.
Fury is scheduled to fight Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk on December 21 in a highly anticipated rematch in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The first encounter between Fury and Usyk happened in May of this year, where the fight went the distance, and Tyson lost by a split decision. His professional record stands at 34 wins (24 by knockout), one loss, and one draw.
