Tyson Discusses Preparation for Upcoming Fight with Jake Paul: It’s Hard to Walk Right Now

Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson gave an update on his health and preparation for the upcoming bout against popular influencer Jake Paul. The fight is scheduled for November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Originally, the two boxers were set to meet in July, but Tyson was hospitalized a few weeks prior due to a flare-up of an ulcer.

Tyson told during giving a commentary to the Cage Wars 67 tournament:

I have no more ulcers and my blood count is almost back. The fight is won in the gym. It’s hard to walk right now. But two months from now I’m going to be perfect.

Tyson last fought in the ring against Roy Jones in a charity match in November 2020. That fight went the full distance and ended in a draw. His professional record stands at 50 wins (44 by knockout) and six losses.

Paul last competed in July 2024, winning against Mike Perry by technical knockout in the sixth round. His boxing record shows ten victories (seven by knockout) and one loss.
