Former world cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew believes British fighter Daniel Dubois will win against former world champion in the heavyweight class, Joseph Parker.
Tony Bellew for Fightlens
Don’t get me wrong, I look at the styles for this match-up, I find it hard to back against Daniel Dubois. Listen, Joe’s not the hardest to hit, but then I’ll also be honest – Joe’s got a bit of a pop as well. Joe Parker hits harder than probably Oleksandr Usyk, I would think so being a career-long heavyweight and he’s got some good wins on his resume, but I find it hard backing against Daniel Dubois in that fight purely for the reason of [he’s] younger, fresher and he does have the big power.
This fight is scheduled to take place on February 22, 2025, in Saudi Arabia.
Daniel Dubois last stepped into the ring in October 2024, winning by knockout against Anthony Joshua in the fifth round. He has a record of 22 wins (21 by knockout) and two losses.
Joseph Parker last fought in March 2024, defeating Zhilei Zhang by majority decision. His record has 35 wins (23 by knockout) and three losses.
