WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson will face Mexican boxer William Zepeda on July 13 in New York.
Stevenson last fought against Josh Padley in February of this year. Shakur won that match by technical knockout in the ninth round. His record has 23 wins (11 by knockout) with no losses.
Zepeda last fought against Tevin Farmer in March of this year. That bout went the full distance and ended with William winning by majority decision. He boasts a record of 33 wins (27 by knockout) with no losses.
