WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson spoke out about a possible fight against WBA champion Gervonta Davis.

Stevenson wrote on social media:
Davis last fought against Frank Martin on June 16. Gervonta won that fight in the eighth round by knockout. He has 30 wins (28 by knockout) and no losses on his record.
Stevenson last stepped into the ring against Edwin De Los Santos in November 2023. That fight lasted the entire distance and ended in favor of Shakur by unanimous decision. He has 21 wins (ten by knockout) and no losses on his record.
