WBC, IBF and WBA welterweight champion Errol Spence hopes to have a fight against WBO world champion Terence Crawford next year.
Errol Spence told Showtime
If he did his best, the fight would happen. You know what I'm saying? But unfortunately, the fight didn't happen. He chose the wrong way. But I hope we can get back to negotiating and have this fight, because that's the fight I want. So hopefully we can get that fight next year.
Spence last fought against Cuban Yordenis Ugás in April of this year. Errol won that fight by TKO in the tenth round. He had 28 wins (22 by TKO) and no losses.
Crawford last fought against Russian David Avanesyan on December 11 in Omaha, Ohio, USA. The fight, which was stopped in the sixth round, ended in Terence's favor by knockout. He scored 39 wins (30 by KO) without a single loss.
