British boxer Dave Allen shared his opinion on the upcoming title fight between British Tyson Fury and Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
It should be noted that Allen has been a sparring partner of both boxers for a long time.
Allen told Pro Boxing Fans:
I don’t agree that Usyk is only dangerous for the first six rounds, if anyone is going to win the early rounds it’s going to be Fury. I sparred Fury and Usyk, and Fury is a level above in every aspect to be honest.
Usyk's last fight was against Daniel Dubois in August 2023. Oleksandr won that fight by knockout in the ninth round. He has 21 wins (14 by knockout) and no defeats on his account.
Fury last entered the ring against Derek Chisora in December 2022. This fight ended in favor of Tyson by technical knockout in the tenth round. He has 33 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no defeats.
