Famous American boxer Claressa Shields met Canadian representative Vanessa Lepage-Joanisse in the ring on the night of July 28 as part of a boxing night in Detroit.
This fight, which was stopped in the second round, ended in favor of Claressa by technical knockout. Thus, she won the WBC and WBF heavyweight titles, as well as the WBO belt in the light heavyweight division.
Now Shields has 15 wins (three by knockout) and no losses in professional boxing. Lepage-Joanisse has seven wins (two by knockout) and two losses.
