Former WBC interim lightweight champion Ryan Garcia has announced that he will fight an exhibition fight against former world champion in eight weight classes Manny Pacquiao.

Garcia was previously disqualified for one year and fined $1.1 million dollars due to a failed doping test after his bout with Devin Haney. Ryan originally defeated Devin by majority decision, but the result of the fight was overturned. Garcia has 25 wins (20 by knockout) and one loss.
On July 28 at the Super RIZIN 3 tournament in Tokyo, Pacquiao had an exhibition boxing bout against former K-1 champion Rukiya Anpo. The fight lasted the entire distance and ended in a draw. Pacquiao has 62 wins (39 by knockout), eight losses and two draws in the professional ring.
