Roy Jones Jr. for The Vegas Insider
My top 5 always stays the same — they are Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, Salvador Sanchez, Sugar Ray Leonard and Roberto Duran. Ali is at the top of this list, he could do everything. He had an outstanding offensive arsenal, he was the best in defense, you just couldn’t hit him. And he could knock you out with either hand.
Jones Jr. had his last fight against Mike Tyson in an exhibition bout that took place in November 2020. This fight went the full distance and ended in a draw.
In February 2018, Roy won by unanimous decision over Scott Sigmon. Jones made his professional boxing debut in May 1989, defeating Ricky Randall by TKO in the second round. 54-year-old Jones has 66 wins (47 by knockout) and nine losses.
