Frank Warren, the head of Queensberry Promotions and representative for IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois, has announced that Dubois' next opponent could be New Zealand's Joseph Parker.
Warren stated in an interview with talkSPORT:
We are pretty much there with where we need to be, so hopefully we can get it over the line today and tomorrow and be ready to announce it. Joseph Parker is in the hat and he is coming off of some good wins but we will see. Jake Paul at the moment is not in that hat.
Daniel Dubois last fought in October 2024, where he scored a knockout victory over Anthony Joshua in the fifth round. His record now stands at 22 wins, with 21 of those coming by way of knockout, and two losses.
Joseph Parker last stepped into the ring in March 2024, earning a majority decision victory over Zhang Zhilei. His professional record includes 35 wins, with 23 of those by knockout, and three losses.
