Famous promoter Bob Arum commented on the result of the rematch between former undisputed light-welterweight world champion Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall.
That fight, which took place on May 25 in Leeds, UK, went the full distance and ended in favor of Catterall by unanimous decision (116-113 and 117-111 twice).
Bob Arum
I saw the fight like everybody else. Those scorecards were a disgrace, were an absolute disgrace. I really feel sorry for Josh, I thought he won the fight, but those scorecards were ridiculous.
The first fight between Tayler and Catterall took place in February 2022. In this fight, Josh won by split decision. He has 19 wins (13 by knockout) and two losses. Jack has 29 wins (13 by knockout) and one loss.
