Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has made an unusual offer to WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. The two will fight on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
British publication The Mirror quotes their source as saying:
Francis quietly had a hair transplant behind the scenes as his team [negotiated] with the Fury camp about the fight. The pair became quite close friends at this time during the early stages of a possible fight last year and Francis cheekily offered Fury the free transplant at the clinic he went to as a sweetener to their deal.
Ngannou last fought against Ciryl Gane in January 2022 at UFC 270. In that confrontation, Francis won by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 17 wins and three losses in MMA.
Fury last entered the ring against Derek Chisora in December 2022. This fight ended in favor of Tyson by technical knockout in the tenth round. He has 33 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no defeats in the professional ring.
