Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou from Cameroon has commented on the prospect of a boxing match against Martin Bakole.
Ngannou told Low Kick MMA:
[Martin Bakole?] Not really. That is the fight I would choose as the last option because I see him more like a brother. I’d fight anyone else beside him, plus he’s dangerous!
Ngannou last fought against Anthony Joshua in a boxing match this past March, where he suffered a knockout defeat in the second round. His MMA record stands at 17 wins and three losses.
Bakole last fought against Jared Anderson on August 4 in Los Angeles, where he won by knockout. His professional record includes 21 wins (16 by knockout) and one loss.
