Former UFC heavyweight division champion Francis Ngannou commented on a potential rematch with Tyson Fury, who will fight Oleksandr Usyk for the world heavyweight boxing title in February.
The rematch is what I want next the most. As for right now, I feel like there is a lot of options for me, but I want to choose wisely, and I would go for the rematch first. My best scenario in boxing is to wait for Fury. If Usyk can step out and let me fight Fury, I’ll fight Fury.
Recall, on October 28, Fury defeated Ngannou by split decision of judges.
Fury previously entered the ring in December 2022, defeating Derek Chisora by technical knockout in the tenth round. He has 34 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no losses. The last fight was Ngannou's debut in the boxing ring.
