Murtazaliev: I’m Glad Kovalev Retired on a Winning Note

Bakhram Murtazaliev exclusively for Telecom Asia Sport
Sergey is one of the best professionals in our country. It was an interesting fight, and they brought a worthy opponent. I’m glad that Sergey retired on a winning note. Or maybe it’s not the end. I think Sergey is one of a kind, unique. I’m not sure who to compare him to, but he’s a good guy, and that’s what matters most.

Recall that Sergey Kovalev held the titles of WBA, IBF, and WBO in the light heavyweight division and was ranked second in Ring magazine's rankings. In his farewell match, he knocked out Artur Mann in the seventh round, having previously knocked him down twice. His professional record includes 36 wins (30 by knockout), five losses, and one draw.
