On the night of January 28, Phoenix (USA) hosted a boxing night, the main event of which was a fight between Jaime Munguia and John Ryder for the WBC Silver super middleweight belt.
The fight ended with Munguia winning by technical knockout in the tenth round.

Ryder, 35, had his previous fight in May 2023, losing to Saul Alvarez by unanimous decision. He has 32 wins (18 by knockout) and seven losses.
