Muhammad Ali To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall Of Fame

Former heavyweight world champion, famous American boxer Muhammad Ali will be added to the wrestling promotion WWE Hall of Fame. The organization's leadership officially announced the news.

Ali won a gold medal in the 81kg weight category at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome, Italy. In the final, Muhammad unanimously defeated Zbigniew Pietrzykowski.

Ali's last professional fight was against Trevor Berbick in December 1981. In that match, Muhammad suffered a unanimous decision loss. He had 56 wins (37 by knockout) and five losses to his name.

On June 2, 2016, Muhammad Ali was hospitalized due to lung problems. He passed away on June 3 at the age of 74. The boxer's cause of death was septic shock.
