Former Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight champion Mike Tyson said former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou hits harder than Tyson Fury's previous opponents.
Mike Tyson for talkSPORT
This guy punches like God knows who, he moves quicker, I've worked with his speed. Listen man, he only has to land one or two. Tyson's never been in the ring with a guy that can punch this hard. I think this guy punches harder than anybody he's [Fury] ever fought.
Recall, the fight between Ngannou and Fury will take place on October 29 in Saudi Arabia.
Ngannou fought against Ciryl Gane in the main event of UFC 270 in January 2022. Francis won that fight by unanimous decision of judges. He has 17 wins and three losses under his belt.
Fury last entered the ring against Derek Chisora in December 2022. This fight ended in favor of Tyson by technical knockout in the tenth round. He has 33 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no defeats.
