Former absolute world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has named the winner of the upcoming fight between WBA, IBF and WBO titleholder Oleksandr Usyk and WBC world champion Tyson Fury. The bout will headline an evening of boxing to be held on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Tyson Fury
Hey, we should (keep in mind the performance against Ngannou), but you have to understand he’s still champion. I got to go with Fury. I think he’s the best fighter in the world, especially in the heavyweight division. Great fighters lose, great fighters look bad, but that doesn’t stop them from being great fighters.
Usyk, 36, last stepped into the ring in August 2023, defeating Daniel Dubois by knockout in the ninth round. He has 21 wins (14 by knockout) on his record without a single defeat.
The 35-year-old Fury last fought against Francis Ngannou in October 2023. In this confrontation Tyson won by split decision of judges. He has 34 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no losses.
